This
is a portrait of Rucker The Wonder Dog that belongs to a good friend.
When her birthday was approaching I offered to do her portrait. Although
she is a very attractive woman she was not interested in having her
portrait done and then I offered to do the drawing above of her good
ole dog Rucker. Her face beamed with joy at the idea of a portrait
of her special friend Rucker.
Rucker is a mix breed dog of great intelligence. The are moments when I establish eye contact with Rucker and I almost expect him to speak because of the intelligence I see in the expression in his eyes. I have asked my friend if Rucker is a reincarnated relative sent to be her guardian because he is a great companion. The drawing of Rucker was created from a reference photograph that my friend had.
